Anita is a Deputy Director within the NI Civil Service. Her career spans dealing with welfare support to targeting communities suffering levels of deprivation working in partnership with Government Departments and local people. Anita has lived in the Ballymacash area for 45 years and her historic Huguenot roots link back 300 years to the linen industry in Lisburn.
Anita’s son is a former player in the Ballymacash Rangers Senior squad and her brother was a former player in the 1990s. Anita is keen to develop the Sports Academy to its full potential and hopes her involvement will assist in offering users a safe, secure, and welcoming space, providing opportunities for intergenerational programmes to further enhance community relations.
