Motor Neurone Disease Fundraising day returns to Sports Village

It was a pleasure for The Bluebell Sports Village to host the annual charity day for Motor Neurone Disease NI.

This is held every year and is organised by Sandra Walsh in memory of Alan Stitt and Evelyn Gillespie, and raises vital funds for the charity.

The day consisted of an adults Football tournament (adults), followed by darts and pool tournaments in the Bluebell Social Club. For the younger fundraisers there was a bouncy castle, face painting and ice cream to keep them occupied. The usual BBQ and Raffle (which had a massive 44 prizes up for grabs) was also available to help raise the much needed funds.

Total funds raised = £3,500 Thanks to everyone who supported this event, and in particular to SuperValu who donated all the baps/rolls, cheese and over 200 bottles of water which was greatly appreciated by all who took part in the football.
